Restoration of Kyiv Region: A Commitment to Rebuilding Together
In a world where borders may separate us, the spirit of cooperation knows no bounds. On September 20, 2023, a significant step towards rebuilding the Kyiv region was taken as Ruslan Kravchenko, the Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, convened a crucial meeting with Tal Karasso, CEO of the United States-based “TESH Group Inc.” and Israeli partners. This meeting, held under the auspices of the Regional Office of International Cooperation (ROIC), marked a pivotal moment in our mission to restore the heart of Ukraine.
At the core of these discussions was the prospect of collaboration between TESH Group Inc. and local authorities to aid in the rejuvenation of the Kyiv region and foster the growth of Ukraine’s construction industry. A particularly exciting proposal was the potential establishment of a factory within the metropolitan region. This facility would specialize in the production of modular buildings designed for versatile purposes, including housing, education, and medical services.
Our esteemed foreign guests did not merely engage in dialogue; they ventured into the heart of the matter. They embarked on a journey to witness firsthand the consequences of the devastation wrought by recent events. The delegation visited several affected settlements, including Moschun, Gorenka, Borodyanka, and Irpen. In these once-thriving communities, they bore witness to the stark reality of destruction, both in the private and high-rise sectors. Local residents opened their homes and hearts, sharing their stories and experiences, offering a poignant reminder of the enduring human spirit.
Ruslan Kravchenko, expressing profound gratitude, acknowledged the significance of our foreign partners’ initiative. Their willingness to collaborate with local authorities, businesses, and the community reflects a shared commitment to the swift and high-quality restoration of our beloved region. This endeavor is part of the Regional Office of International Cooperation’s (ROIC) mission, an initiative endorsed by the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine. ROIC serves as a bridge connecting foreign partners who seek to engage at the regional and territorial community levels, focusing on reconstruction and the provision of humanitarian and social support.
As we look ahead, this collaboration between TESH Group Inc., Israeli partners, and our local authorities reaffirms the boundless potential of unity, compassion, and international cooperation. Together, we are sowing the seeds of hope and resilience, nurturing the promise of a brighter, rebuilt future for the Kyiv region and its people.
